In-home Euthanasia - $550
Dr. Kim will come to your home to confirm that humane euthanasia is an appropriate decision for your pet. She will then administer a combination of medications that will provide pain relief and relaxation. After your pet is comfortably sedated, she will obtain a clay pawprint impression and lock of fur (if you’d like). Finally, she will administer an injection that will cause body functions to gradually cease.
If your pet gets nervous around new people, when people enter your home, or has a history of aggression, Dr. Kim can arrange for medications to be administered prior to the visit.
Our goal is to make this process as minimally stressful as possible - for all involved.
Appointments typically last 45 minutes.
In-home Palliative Care - $650
This service is for pets and families who are dealing with a previously diagnosed end-stage disease process, where the goal is to keep the pet comfortable while avoiding the stress of additional trips into the clinic.
Dr. Kim will come to your home, discuss the disease process(es) that are affecting your pet’s quality of life, and perform a physical exam. Based on this information, she will then provide you with education on the disease process(es), what changes you can expect to see as the disease(s) progress, and what options are available to keep your pet comfortable and happy. Advanced diagnostics are not available at this visit.
Email is generally an appropriate form of communication for follow-up after the initial visit, but recheck appointments with physical exams can be scheduled for an additional fee of $400.
It is important to note that there will be an additional fee for medications prescribed at this visit.
Appointments typically last 45 minutes.
Virtual Quality of Life Consult - $250
This service is for families who are unsure if a palliative care or euthanasia appointment are appropriate.
Dr. Kim will arrange a phone call or video visit to discuss your pet’s current health concerns and quality of life. Based on this discussion, she will make recommendations for follow up with your primary/specialist veterinarian, a palliative care appointment, or a euthanasia appointment.
Dr. Kim cannot diagnose disease processes or prescribe medications at this visit.
Appointments typically last 30 minutes.
Transportation to Crematory with Mementos - $450
This option is for pets who have passed away at home themselves, or when the family is unable to transport the pet on their own.
Dr. Kim will coordinate transport to the Final Gift Pet Memorial Center after obtaining a clay pawprint impression and a lock of fur (if you’d like).
Appointments typically last 30 minutes.
