About Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim was born and raised in the Boston area. Veterinary medicine is a second career for her after graduating from Boston University with a B.S. in Psychology and working in behavioral neuroscience research. She went to vet school at Mississippi State University, where she was introduced to SEC football and southern food. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship on Long Island, followed by an Emergency/Critical Care specialty internship at MVRH in Woburn. She continued working in the ER at MVRH for 2 more years after that. In the summer of 2021, a friend suggested that Dr. Kim look into end of life care, and the rest is history.

Dr. Kim brings years of experience working in a high volume emergency and critical care department, with mentors in many specialties all willing to share their expertise. She has been working in end of life care since 2021 and loves being able to help families through such a difficult and important time with her calming and supportive presence.
